Lamington Vet Nambour June 2010 NewsletterDr Leisa has just returned from a week at the Pan Pacific Veterinary Conference held in Brisbane. This week is an opportunity to learn about the latest treatments and diagnostics for various conditions, as well as to see the latest technology available.

1. RSPCA Million Paws Walk

Our walk is on again on Sunday 16 May at the Nambour Showgrounds. Registration starts at 8am or you can register online at www.millionpawswalk.com.au and navigate to the Nambour walk. The walk will start at 9am. For those who are keen, we will have a fun 'warm up' aerobics before the walk to get the blood pumping!

1. Welcome to our new team members

Lamington Terrace Veterinary Surgery welcomes 2 new staff members this month.

Miss Amy Collins is the newest member of our nursing team. Amy is returning to veterinary nursing after a break to have her first child.

Dr Mike Jensen BVSc is a qualified veterinarian with 17 years experience. Mike joins Dr Leisa Denaro BVSc for both consultations and surgical procedures.

Mike's special interests include orthopaedic surgery.
