Lamington Vet Tick WarningEven though it is still cool, please be on the alert for paralysis ticks on your pets. If you are not using an effective tick preventative then you need to start now! We have seen several cases of tick paralysis already and several other clients have told us they are finding ticks on their pets. Often we become a little complacent over winter with tick prevention and can get caught out.

Lamington Vet Goes GreenWe have recently commenced a program called EcoBiz which aims to reduce our carbon footprint. One of our major goals is to reduce waste going to landfill. To help do this we have started worm farms! One worm farm will devour our kitchen scraps and paper waste and another farm will help to compost dog poo and cat litter. The worm castings can be used as fertiliser around trees and shrubs in our garden.
