We recommend Hills Science Diet and Hills Prescription Diets. Most formulas come in both dry and canned varieties.

Dogs

Hills Science Diet Puppy – 3 varieties: small breed puppy, regular puppy, large breed puppy. Depending on the breed of the dog, we recommend feeding puppy formula through till about 10-12months of age

Hills Science Adult Range – Regular for medium to large breeds, average exercise

Small Bites for small breeds

Active – for working dogs or super-active dogs ie minimum twice daily vigorous exercise. Any less exercise and dogs will become overweight on this variety

Sensitive Skin – for improved skin and coat condition

Sensitive Stomach – for those prone to mild gastric upsets with some food types.

Oral Care – for improved health of teeth and gums.

Light – for dogs that do not exercise much.

Hills Science Senior – Generally for age 7 and over. In giant breeds, for age 5 and over. Also comes in Small Bites for small breeds

Prescription Varieties – generally prescribed by the Vet for specific conditions or for weight loss. However, we strongly encourage and recommend the routine use of t/d for dental health. Regular use of t/d from an early age can often eliminate the need for scale & polish treatments.

w/d is excellent for fibre responsive conditions eg pancreatitis and dogs prone to becoming overweight.

Cats

Hills Kitten for up to 10-12 months of age

Hills Science Adult range includes several different flavours and also includes a Hairball control variety which is great for long haired cats

Senior is for cats 7 years of age and over.

There is also a range of feline prescription diets for nutritional support of specific conditions. Again, we strongly recommend the routine use of t/d for optimal dental health.
