RSPCA MILLION PAWS WALK 2009

The 2009 event held at the Nambour Showgrounds. Lots of photos and a feedback form for us to improve the evnet where necessary for next year.

RSPCA MILLION PAWS WALK 2009 - NAMBOUR SHOWGROUNDS

On Sunday 17th May the sun was bright and warm and hundreds of paws turned out in Nambour to walk to raise funds for RSPCA. The morning was a great success and most stayed to enjoy the Scouts sausage sizzle, great Hoona Dog coffee and watch the doggy dancing and Rally-O demonstrations.

The hydrobath was going strong and Amanda from Snips N Dips Pet Grooming Parlour demonstrated a Springer Spaniel clip with some colourful leg feathering! We had tremendous support for our multi-draw raffle with businesses from Nambour and surrounding areas generously donating prizes and vouchers.

Fancy Dress

Once again, lots of people went to great effort to dress up their pets and put on a great show! Overall we raised $4800 on the day – this beats last year’s tally of $3000.

The team at Lamington Terrace Veterinary Surgery – Leisa, Jodie, Helen, Alyce, Amanda & Sandy – worked hard to put the event together and we would like to thank everyone for coming and showing such great support for the cause.

We welcome feedback!

There is a feedback form on this page – please feel free to tell us what you liked and didn’t like and make any suggestions for how we can make the event bigger and better next year! We hope to see everyone again next year!
